A Word of Warning About Amazon--November
20, 2009
I've been getting nasty emails from other Hallmark Ornament sellers on Amazon
and Amazon had yanked several of my ornament listings due to these false, abusive
complaints from others. I am really fed up with these trolls and their antics.
They have harassed me for over a year now at various marketplaces with Amazon
being the latest. I don't know what the hell their problem is with me, other
than they seriously need to grow the fuck up.
Since I cannot relist the ornaments on Amazon [due to having my seller account
restricted because of the false complaints], I do accept Amazon Simple Pay/Amazon
Payments. So if you want any of my ornaments and want to pay using Amazon Payments,
let me know so that I can set up an invoice.
This site is censored by ISPs and windows based computers--
June 5, 2009
A lot of people have told me lately that they are not able to see my site.
That they are being "blocked" from seeing it. It has NOTHING to do with
firewall settings or web browser settings, as those settings have been toyed
with and it's still the same blatant censorship. Those who told me that they
cannot see my site are those who are using windows operating system and internet
explorer for a web browser. There seems to be no difference with any of the windows
operating systems and this hidden "blocking" mechanism that is in windows
systems. Also those who are using either AT&T or Comcast for an ISP are also
being blocked from seeing my site. The "error" that keeps coming back
for AT&T and Comcast users is that my site violates their ISP policy for
viewing sites and that my site cannot be shown to the AT&T and Comcast user.
This censorship does not just apply to this site. This censorship also happens
when those stated above try to access the ornament listings I have listed at
other auction sites. The same "blocking" and same "errors" come
up. I really and truly have NO IDEA as to why the blatant censorship. Censorship
is not right. Those who have to resort to censorship are those who are just downright
nazis.
Last Chance Folks--May 19, 2009
For those who have waited in hoping that I would lower my prices. I'm not. Since no one wants to buy any of them, I'll be giving these ornaments away in my joint venture. For every ornament that I give away in my joint venture, each ornament will be removed from the chart until all the ornaments are gone. And it's not just the ornaments. It's everything
in my ebid store.
Once everything is gone, this page will be changed into a closed directory. This is your last chance to purchase these ornaments. Don't expect this page to still be up by July 2009. As a matter of fact, don't be surprised if this page is changed into a closed directory by June 2. That is how serious this notice is.
When you see an opportunity, you have to take it. Once the opportunity is gone,
it's your loss. And for those who are wondering about this "joint venture" I
am talking about, you will have to contact me in private about it.
A Word of Warning--January 23,
2009
I DO have a squidoo lens. Not just with ornaments listed on it. I have most of my items I'm selling in my
ebid store on it. As much as I did not want to say anything about it, now I am. I am doing so to shut up those who are spewing and spreading lies about me on the net. Not to mention the threats and harassment I've received via email. I have to wonder what the harasser(s) major malfunction is?
Second thought, I don't care to know. What I do know is that there's no such thing as anonymity on the net.
THINK twice. That's my only advice.
A Word of Warning--January 22,
2009
You should learn how to do your own research and ask questions before you buy
an ornament. If you don't, you're asking to be ripped off. What kind of person
would I be to not WARN you about these horrible REPLICAS of the Tinkerbell in
Lantern ornament that have popped up on the net and are being passed off as the
HALLMARK one. If that doesn't sound bad enough, these REPLICAS are costing uneducated
buyers nearly $300 dollars. The deceitful sellers who are selling them are trying
to claim that they are "Hallmark Made".
HOGWASH. Take a look at the photos of the Tinkerbell in Lantern ornament [link
disabled because the ornament has been sold] I
have. The ornament I have is HALLMARK with the appropriate card, markings and
sparkles. The REPLICAS don't have sparkles. Nor do the REPLICAS light up or play
sound.
Don't be bamboozled. If the ornament does not come with it's original box, DO NOT BUY. DO NOT BUY. DO NOT BUY. DO NOT BUY. PERIOD! Better to be safe than sorry in this day and age where fraud runs rampant on all levels.
A Word of Warning--January 12,
2009
Don't buy ornaments on ebay. Because you're paying a lot more money than you would have paid if you buy the ornaments from me. Recently on ebay, an auction for a Heather
Fonseca Designer Spotlight Barbie Ornament ended with the winning bid being nearly $360 dollars. I have TWO of these ornaments and I am selling them for $210 dollars each. See the big difference price, not to mention savings here.
Do you want to know what was SAD about the auction. The buyer is the SAME buyer
who INSISTED that she couldn't afford to pay $210 for the ornament and how the
price that I am asking for my ornaments is out of her "price range". She couldn't
afford to pay $210 but she can afford to pay $360??? Does that make sense???
I'm glad I didn't sell my ornament to her that's for sure. Especially with her
CLAIMING how she can only afford to pay $100 for A RARE CLUB ORNAMENT!
I am also glad
that I especially DON'T sell on ebay anymore with all of the draconian rules
ebay has. Not to mention the rampant FRAUD that goes on ebay all the time now.
Even descent powersellers won't sell on ebay anymore.
The point is, it's not just buyer beware. It's also seller beware too. That's
why I won't accept paper checks or money orders. That's why I use and accept
Paypal. Because the paper trail is not only documented, it can be traced fast
and action can be taken quickly to stop any fraudulent transaction. You can get
your money back from Paypal. With paper checks and money orders, you'll be damn
lucky to even get your money back with all the red tape you have to go through
with the bank.
A Word of Warning--December
10, 2008
You should be leery of anyone who is selling ornaments really cheap. Especially
if they're being sold for $1, $2, $5 an ornament. Those who are selling them
that cheap are either
A) A person who does not understand [much less respect] the value of Hallmark
Ornaments.
B) A dishonest seller who is either selling stolen property or counterfeit
reproduction Hallmark Ornaments.
The case is mostly the latter instead of the first. An individual contacted
me a few days ago, asking questions about my photos
of the 2003 Christmas Window Ornament. This person told me that the window ornament they had bought from
someone on Craigslist for $5 did NOT come in a box and did NOT have the year
2003 stamped on the front of the ornament. Also the ornament had one red bird
on it instead of two. I had told this person that they were RIPPED OFF and
that they should file a police report. NO reputable Ornament seller sells ornaments
cheap/undervalue, much less a COUNTERFEIT ornament. A reputable seller [such
as myself] is happy to provide feedback credentials [like I do with my repatoo
button a little way down before the first chart].
Like I said, be leery when you buy ornaments. If it doesn't come with the
original box, DON'T BUY. You run the RISK of buying a COUNTERFEIT ornament
that way. ALL of my ornaments come in their original boxes. I specifically
state the CONDITION of the ornaments and boxes. It was a lot of work and effort
in taking photos and making charts. You know exactly full well what you are
getting when you look around on this site.
